Westover Village Apartments

My mom lives here and this place is the dirtiest place I have ever seen. They don't want to help the residents and always has a excuse why. She has been asking for a storage unit for months they always have a reason why they can't get her one. She moved in almost a year ago the exterminator was coming every 3 months well the last 6 months he hasn't came we know why that is the company doesn't want to pay him I guess they rather just take your money for rent and not help with anything else. This apartment complex doesn't even deserve 1 star. They took down my last review let's see if this one will stay up. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!

I have lived here for 7 years and since Andrea has taken over management of this place it has made such a turn around. We can come outside and walk around now safely with our children. If there is an issue it is dealt with as quick as possible. We have cute monthly newsletters with facts and the names of workers here (shout out to yall too!!!!).

I lived there for 10 years and I've never seen so much laziness and and unwillingness to do anything for the tenants. Water pipes burst, I've had my whole apartment underwater before. ACTUAL BATS flying in from somewhere which is such a safety hazard. So many tenants doing drugs and management and maintenance just ignores it. Management is combative and so rude. Vernal the manager now talks down to tenants, makes up stories. Tried to evict us because I started a job and worked ONE DAY and quit but I didn’t report it right away. After we moved out we still had some things in our unit, we worked full time but we’re trying to get everything out as quickly as possible. If you are planning on moving here, I beg you to look elsewhere! It used to be nice but since the new ownership took over, the residents are treated absolutely horrible. Vernal Moore is the office manager and she truly needs help and training on how to treat people. She is very combative and seems to enjoy upsetting residents. She lies and I have never seen anything like this. The regional manager is a liar as well! I understand that these are harsh words but with my experience, these words are absolutely appropriate! They have one maintenance man that smokes marijuana in his car and they look the other way. He is beyond lazy. I want to make it clear, however that I am not speaking about Mike! Do yourself a favor and don't even submit an application. I lived there for almost two years and had three managers. Multiple maintenance people. Management doesn't care about drugs, They don't care about live in boyfriends not on the lease. They don't appreciate tenants who follow rules and keep immaculate apartments. Very hostile environment. Very unprofessional. Office staff seems to make up their own version of stories. Current maintenance man tells other tenants the condition of others apartments. He intimidates people. He stands in the garage with no shirt on. Office staff will deny this but many tenants have witnessed it.
