West Midtown Apartments

If you're thinking of moving to West Midtown POINTE apartments (they don't seem to have their own Google listing, but are owned by the same folks as West Midtown GARDENS right next door), make sure to ask management if they've done anything about the roaches that were there ~10 years ago, as a result of my then-neighbor with mental health conditions who lost track of reality and ended up with his apartment superinfested. When I kicked up a major fuss about the roaches that were coming through the walls, management grudgingly treated my apartment but obviously did not inspect or treat any of the nearby units — otherwise they would have discovered the condition of my neighbor's apartment. First off, I want to say that the building manager at my location is amazing. By far the best landlord I have ever had. He is kind, thoughtful and encouraging. His background in law enforcement offers additional safety on top of the security features already in place. The keyed entry and the video surveillance offers a feeling of comfort. I am a 33 year old single woman and I live alone. I thought living alone would be difficult, and scary, but because of this man and the security features mentioned, I am able to feel safe, regardless of the increase in Anchorage crime. I rent a one bedroom apartment. The monthly rent is competitive with the current rental market, which makes it affordable. All utilities are included in my specific unit, which makes life easy. I live at one of these apartments. As it is my home, I can only rate it 5 stars. It's a comfortable spot at a reasonable price, and it is warm.

This guy sucks as a manager and he knows it always treating ppl cuz he was an cop trying to evicted ppl with out knowing anything its says no dogs allowed but yet have the ppl on 1025 have dogs and the on the other side no cats but yet everyone have some kind of animal never answers the phone then needed and super rude to women true me when I say he is rube never like the place and don't get me ranting about the apt that has the landlord speacel that he will never fix right its all lies

It is nice and relaxing. Neighbors are kind and helpful. The best landlord ever.
