Waterfront Place Apartments-South Building

Can't speak to their apartments, but their management seems perfectly OK with signing off on making accessible parking spaces into construction staging areas. Not a good luck for you or your contractors, folks. And yes, this is precisely the correct venue for this sort of complaint, as I have found people generally don't care unless specifically called out in public fashion.

Fallon on the leasing office is AMAZING! She was very patient and understanding while my husband and I were looking to renew our lease in a bigger unit. She went out of her way to send floor plans that meant our needs! She takes her time to listen and give answers to any and all concerns and questions! Renewing our lease wasn’t even a second thought! The maintenance team (Tony, Andrew and Javier) are wonderful! Any work order submitted is taken care of same day and if not then they apologize for the delay and get it done next day. They do great with our two big dogs and are very respectful and professional while working. The communication is awesome, they kept me in the loop when a pair needed to be ordered…never had such great communication with and from maintenance before!

Pros. 4th floor views of Whidby Island and the water. Daily views of the Marina. Within walking distance of the US Navy base. Cons. People. They will screw with your parking spot of which you pay at least $100. Infrequent car break ins. Regular smells of Marijuana on the varied floors. Train & traffic noise after 10p.

I live on the 2nd floor. Neighbors above sound like elephants because of the construction of the building. My neighbors below asked me if I was stomping around also. (I walk very soft). Super small parking spaces that are expensive ($100-$200per month per spot) nickel and dime on everything including charging you for electricity in the common spaces. Lots of dogs here so you better like em. Over all this place is nice to look at but living here is a different story. Management and maintenance is pretty good though. A $2200 apartment will cost almost $2800 if you have parking. I will not be renewing my lease. Update: now the community is going to start charging for visitors to park. What next? A walking fee? A breathing fee?

Pretty views and very quiet.
