I can’t say enough positive things about Steve McGuire. I was in search of a beach home for rent that suited just myself within my price range. After searching and searching I found one through Walter Williams. From the moment I called and talked with Steve about The one I found online, it was the easiest and most pleasant experience I’ve had with renting a place. He was so easy going and made sure things got done for me and that I was satisfied with the place. Very personable and can tell he cares about his renters. The people in the office have been very nice to me every time I have spoken to them and fixed any issues I addressed right away. Great company in my opinion! Thanks Steve!!! I love my new beach apartment!

After 4 years of school living in the student ghetto at the University of Florida I thought my days of dealing with shady landlords was over. St. Augustine is a well respected town and I've had many great experiences dealing with various people in the area. I specifically waited a couple months to cool down before writing this review. Walter William's property management style is on the same on the same level as those dirt apartments I had to suffer through while in school. Maintenance requests had to be made duplicate times, and the owner charged us for a couple issues we had brought up while living in the house. Maybe this is just an anomaly but beware.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The absolute worst landlord I’ve ever had in my LIFE. Peter and Jason Fragale are rude, lazy, downright nasty people. Their receptionist is the same, I have other words for her but they would result in this review getting banned. This “company” (its really 3 clowns in a trenchcoat masquerading as a company) will not fix a thing, even HAZARDS. My roommate and I had the house tested twice by two different companies for mold after we both were getting sick constantly, and they found 5+ toxic molds that were abundant in the house. 2 of them could be deadly if left without treatment long enough. In early March we listed our St Augustine, FL rental property for sale with Walter Williams Properties. Within 1 week of listing the property our agent, Steve, found a buyer and we were under contract! The property closed this past Monday. Wow! Steve communicated with us on a regular basis and ensured that the entire process ran smoothly. I also credit Steve's market analysis in determining fair market value of the property, which resulted in generating interested buyers. I should also mention that, prior to selling this property, Walter Williams did a great job of managing the property for us for almost 5 years. For these reasons we strongly recommend Walter Williams Properties.

I lived in a house that they managed for over a year. They are a terrible company. If I could give them negative stars I would. This company never fixed any thing when we would report problems. When they did send someone out the technician would find an issue and then ask Walter Williams for approval to fix it which they never would. Our yard looked like the surface of the moon because of their refusal to maintain it. Our fence fell over and they ignored the problem. They would send people to our house for issues we weren't even aware of with no notification beforehand.
