Walden Apartments

First off, DaShon is an absolute gem of a property manager. We worked w/ him at Ninebark & then randomly found him again at The Walden. He genuinely cares, communicates clearly, & actually listens. By far one of the best people you could hope for when looking for an upscale apartment. Secondly, I loved the apartment we toured, a one bedroom w/ a den. It did not feel like a typical apartment at all. The black bathroom fixtures, cute patterned floor tiles, & unique bathroom lighting were so nice. A cool change from the usual silver or nickel finishes. The large modern windows were unique. They add to the character. The kitchen had pretty cabinetry, an open layout, & there is also full-sized washer & dryer that were thoughtfully tucked away. The den has a door, which makes it feel like

The building is high quality and the property manager (DaShon) is kind, courteous, and attentive to any needs. The units are quiet and comfortable. The building is exceptionally well maintained and is kept very clean. You are in a nice spot in downtown so there is access to nearby restaurants, trails, a gym, and some shopping. Overall I would highly recommend living here for anyone searching for an apartment in Washougal.

We have been living here for 2 weeks now. We are loving it so far! I have been using the roof lounge as an office, a study place and a reflection space. The views are stunning and the staff are like a cherry on top. I had one concern before we signed the lease. The apartment seemed smaller than what we’re used to. However, after settling in we actually like its size. It doesn’t feel cramped like I thought it would. So far, lack of big closets in the unit we’ve chosen is the only inconvenience I’ve faced. However, maybe this is a good chance to downsize and get rid of what I dont really need.

Recently moved here from Alaska, site unseen. I couldn't be more impressed. Great location, always clean, and quiet, quiet, quiet. We've had a couple of small maintenance requests and they were handled straight away. Dashon is a joy to work with. He always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Definitely glad we made the move here.

We are one of the first residents to live here and we love it so far. Fist off location is awesome! We walk to all the local spots if we want to go out for food or a coffee. Post office is literally right next door as well as the library. Second, management has been awesome. The property manager was great at explaining the property and showing us all the amenities and the floor plans we were interested in. He’s been great with us and making sure he checks in when he sees us. Maintenance has also been awesome at taking care of the building inside and out. One question I got asked while living here is crime. I haven’t seen any so far and it’s felt nice and safe in the area. Cops drive through this area all the time and the building is secure. You need to be a resident to get inside. Finally
