Volterra Apartments

I have been at Volterra for about 5 and a half months now with a roommate and I have enjoyed my living experience very much! The staff is quick to respond and there is never an issue when it comes to splitting rent. Maintnence is also very helpful and timely. The pool is great in the summer and always clean, same goes for the hot tub in the winter. I have never felt unsafe or uncomfortable and all of the neighbors I have met are very kind.My roommate takes the assigned parking space so I need to find street parking typically and it has never been a major issue or to difficult. I was hoping I would find a safe, comfortable, and clean complex to call home while going to school and Volterra has been a 5/5 for me.

I have been living at Volterra for almost a month now and I already love it here. I was already familiar with the apartments as my mom boyfriend use to live here about 6 years ago. I can say that I have seen alot of improvements from 6 years ago to now. It's been really quiet, no issues with the neighbors, it's close by a lot of convenience stores, freeway, and shopping stores. I don't think that I will be going anywhere for a while until I am ready to buy a house. Sara has been awesome from the first time I have applied with my cousin to now. Maintenance has been great and it took them no time to do a touch paint inside my pantry door. I am happy and content where I am at. If I could give 0 stars I would this place is very disconnected from their residents. Don’t let the pool fool you. parking is awful, traffic is equally awful if you work towards downtown. But aside from the things out of the apartments control they are constantly making mistakes administratively. double charged my rent by mistake and were very hard to get a hold of the office. They then act annoyed when you ask them to correct the mistakes their office makes. Still unable to make maintenance requests for over a month when I constantly brought it up to the owner. There are problems with termites and flies that wasn’t disclosed to residents until the summer time.. the appliances are very old and outdated my toilet was overflowing 3 times had to ask maintenance 3 times to fix before they deci

I am currently living here with 4 other roommates: this was the only decent looking place that would accommodate all 5 of us, and alright the place seemed to go to be true, it wasn’t. About a month after moving in, the main bathroom toilet went out. In the same month the dishwasher started over flowing. Next month, the blinds started falling of. I did an inspection of the place and noticed that the paint was starting to chip. All bad, all bad. Obviously at this point, and after signing the lease, we were unable to move out. It’s been 4 months of constant problems. I should have known better when the leasing agent asked specifically for water damage: from my look if it, they new the unit had a lot of problems, but obviously management doesn’t care enough to replace a messed up dishwasher.

Place looks clean from the outside However, after having spoken to several tenants, I realized that the new managers do not care about their tenants and there were many people who complained about the washers and dryers not working properly and being extremely hard to get a hold of. I also spoke to tenants who said they had a serious case of rodents..And roaches. Heard manager Sara does not do her job right and is a complete hypocrite along with manager Maria. I would not recommend for several other reasons. Can't mention on here for I am a Christian woman.
