Vista Creek Apartments

I moved out of Vista Creek Apartments at the end of April after about a year living there, and here’s my experience. There were frequent issues with dogs off leash, and my dog was attacked a few times. One time, someone posted a note near the BBQ/dog area threatening to shoot dogs if owners didn’t clean up after them. Not sure what happened with that, but it definitely didn’t feel comforting. The apartment doesn’t have air conditioning, so summers were very hot, even with fans, blackout curtains, and a portable AC, it sometimes got above 88 degrees inside. The neighborhood didn’t feel safe, with multiple police incidents on Center Street. I also experienced being followed and harassed. Maintenance was slow, my dishwasher was broken for two months and only fixed right before I moved out

Greg was awesome! Upon calling, Greg answered all of my questions thoroughly and spent as much time as I needed on the phone. I never once felt rushed. The day of the tour I got there and toured the 1bed/1bathroom. The layout is very nice and the updated design is really beautiful! I was able to speak with a resident in the complex who praised living there! Unfortunately my move in date needed to be asap and there was no unit available for my timeline. Though I cannot speak on the living aspect of this complex; I can tell you will be in good hands!

The manager seems to have a lot of care in his and does not brush you off like most. The maintenance man is also very good at his gob and very likable.

Luci is the best leasing manager I ever met. She is very organized, will text you information needed before you arrived. And she listened to my needs very carefully, and in addition to introducing floor plan and room to me, she would also patiently introduce the whole neighborhood and its surroundings, and share a lot of rental experience with us, she was as reliable and enthusiastic as a good friend you have known for years.

I was looking a place and I'm v happy I found Vista Creek in Castro Valley. The complex is nice and really clean. The units are pretty. One of the reasons I also decided to move here is Luci. She is the manager and she's a wonderful and helpful person. Luci took care of my application patiently . I can see she also cares about the complex. She is amazing. I'm very thankful with her
