Vintage at Mount Vernon

Every year rent increases over $100.00. 2025 increase $114.00 each month. That's $1,368.00 a year. As seniors most of us are on a fixed income...where should the difference come from? We used to get optional Cable TV for $35.00 a month. Now for the same service one would pay upwards of $100.00. If someone needs a battery changed in their fire alarm they are charged for the battery! My 96 y/o mother made a mistake with the amount of her rent check! Now she has to do penance for a year where she must obtain a certified check for the amount dew each month for an additional charge for the certified check plus the total inconvenience for her to obtain the check...she no longer drives at 96 y/o. I've lived here for almost a year. It has everything I need. Cid is a good manager and the maintenance people are fast to respond and take care of my problem. Staying as long as they will have me! Cheri Lenz
