Village Green

I lived here for basically my entire childhood. Made some memories and friends I would never forget. Next to the best schools ever. Henry Elementary. Parkway West Middle School. Parkway West High School. However, The quality of the apartments are actually not great. As a kid I didn't mind it much but now I can really see the bad things. Don't rent anything from Village Green. I strongly recommend you to rent from Re-New. Way better. There are so many reviews about the washing machines being dirty and having MOLD (Black mold too) on them! Which is true. Sometimes they wouldn't bother. The new maintenance crew is WAY better than the old ones. I also see graffiti a lot in the washing rooms and stuff which isn't even bothered. Storage room: Pure Absolute Unfiltered STUPID. Lived here for 3 years. * Dont expect them to try to remove the snow from the parking spots so people can get out and to work. They should hire someone to shovel around the cars. ** They put in a dog park when there are way too many kids around here that would benefit from a basketball court 🙄 of course they didnt consider what we would of wanted. PUT IN A PLAY GROUND Just dont do it. Thats my best advice. The laundry room is a joke and dirty and never working. Gym is a joke. Yeah they threw some new paint on the Staind-covered walls instead of cleaning. Maintenance is terrible. They won't fix shit. Went 9 days without hot water. They have people coming in to redo apartments for new people and not for the people who already been here, but they are stealing stuff from our outside storag

This was one of the most unpleasant rental experiences of my life. After the management changed, the attitude toward residents deteriorated drastically. Maintenance requests were either completely ignored or took weeks to address. We lived with a broken air conditioner, constantly leaking faucets, and a severe cockroach infestation. The insects were literally everywhere, even in the children’s beds, making the apartment unlivable. When it became clear that nothing would improve, my family had no choice but to leave before the lease ended. Instead of resolving the situation in a fair way, the management chose pressure and financial demands. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these apartments to anyone who values decent living conditions and respectful treatment.

My experience thus far has been a good one. Our leasing agent, Alashia, was very helpful. My Wife and I moved from Ohio for work. We have only had two work orders, both of which has been addressed. We got in late the day we arrived in Missouri, yet the leasing agents made accommodations to get in our new rented place. A couple people here went the extra mile to help accomodate for our situation. I'm happy at this point.

The comment from them below is hilarious! After my bad review someone wants to now speak to me? No. I tried countless times to no avail for over a YEAR. Keep that same ignore Robbie energy you had while I lived there. Ironically, I was always sick living there-- I was being tested for so much. I had a few diagnoses that do stem from longer periods of time around black mold. I ended up with asthma after never having it the 30 something years before living here. Probably from all the mold you ignored and refused to fix. Even after I had it tested and it was determined that it was black mold, you still ignored me. I hope my review is at the top. Forget you, and your weak apology that meant nothing to me, as I'm sure you didn't mean it because action have always spoken louder than words. 2/2
