University Village Apartments

Went for a tour because of the decent price, and when I went to the property I drove around to see what it was like. The facilities were really shady - they clearly don't maintain the roads in the complex. There was a garage that had been smashed (I assume hit by a car?) and there was caution tape but no cones or any equipment indicating intent to fix that or any of the other seriously dilapidated garages around the property. Did not get good vibes, so I did not even see the apartment.

Sherri who acts like the owner put false stuff on my background and now I’m a single mother with two disabled children and now homeless because no one will rent to me. They don’t have the amenities they offer and the place is trash. Laundry always getting stolen. Mold and roaches so bad. But the property manager is a saint !

We lived there for 5 years and our bathroom that they were supposed to fix when we moved in. The shower continued to fall apart. There was a hole in the shower that they refused to fix. Our carpets when we moved in were a trip hazard, and the amount of pest control we paid for because of them not treating nothing. I would get it fixed and someone else would move out and it would start all over. The last manager (her name starts with an A) was a real piece of work. Our last straw was when they raised our rent $300. No way that place is full of drug addicts and just not a good place to live!

We love living here. The manager is awesome. Dog friendly. Quiet during quiet hours. Beautiful courtyard. Kid friendly.

The accounts of what people are writing in the reviews sums up the overall. It is fairly inexpensive, but you are not getting anything extra. The place turns managers faster than tenants. They used to have people mow the grass, but not sure now. Ther is no pool, and no gym, don't let there sign fool you. If you're in a bind this place will rent to you. I was lucky enough to save some money and move a year ago, and yes they found a reason to keep my deposit. Good luck!
