University Square Apartments

I lived here over three years. My whole apartment building didn't have heat for over two years. Another apartment building was flooded, and another building had bedbugs. The property manager (Marcus) didn't fix or care about any issues with the tenant's apartments. I've never seen a slumlord as bad as him.

The apartment are on their last leg, Maintenance isn't a thing. Electrical tape is currently holding my shower walll together. it was one of their repairs. Recently there has Constantly been shooting going on so close it sounds like it's in the building. most of the Tenants seem ok, but this place lacks a clear plan, and moreimportanly then that neither the buildings nor the environment is safe. The rent has gone up theses places average about 800 a month and your lucky if you get an apartment worth that. I've lived here for 7 years and it has gotten worse every year. This place lacks leadership. It's almost like they are waiting for it to fall apart then turn it into something else like our rent money is their short ticket. I'm planning my escape, But I wouldn't advise moving here unles

Lovely surroundings with trees, peaceful surroundings. Great. I love the management team. Has helped me alot especially when I was sick. Adult tenants. Marcus is a hard working Manager. Willing to work, hard for a clean, and healthy place to live. VA friendly.

It's AWFUL.....They r quick to collect rent (925.$) but SLOOOOOW to fix anything.The entryways STINK (strong sewage smell) laundry rooms always have water all over floor and downstairs always have standing water.no one ever addresses the complaints..DONT MOVE HERE.......

the Apt manager Chris is intrusive. no privacy and hostile towards tenants. I would think someone who gets a tax break to house veterans would be more polite and not intimidate guest of veterans. The neighbors support the Veterans more than him. This guy is making money off the VA and taking names down of all guest tenants, their family and secrets for personal gain.. creating a hostile environment when the VA trust in him to provide a safe place for our veterans suffering from ptsd.
