Poor Communication Can't never reach out to the management team. They have the hotline but they will just take your information down and no one will call you back Old heating systems so ready for the $400-500 electricity bills in the winter Took months to get an in unit washer & dryer combo, but takes 7 hours to wash & dry one load. So think carefully if you can afford the electricity bill Even the community washers/dryers are often broke down Extremely bad air flow, normal cooking (ex: making burger) will set the fire arlarm on Unstable wifi connection Extreme thin wall Door lock totally depends on your luck. Could take 10 tries or more to open the door Ready to live in darkness because there's no light in the buildingso So many problems with rent payments because the owner can't pay back

I lived in this apartment for three years. The first management company, Kimball, was excellent , very responsive and professional. Everything changed for the worse when the current company took over. The management has been the worst I’ve experienced. When my front load washer broke, it took them over two months to properly address the issue, and instead of repairing it, they replaced it with a cheap washer/dryer combo unit. Thankfully, my unit was relatively new, so I didn’t have many other maintenance issues during my lease. However, after I moved out over a month ago, I still haven’t received my security deposit. They withheld $400 for “insufficient cleanliness,” which I find completely unreasonable. It's unfortunate that the lowest rating I can give is one star, they don't even deserv

Lived here three years. Big mistake. The new management did not shovel snow or plow the parking lot. Squirrels and birds live in the poorly insulated walls. Not worth it. Find somewhere else where they care about the health and safety of their tenants. Pictures show our neighbor’s apartment below us. Yuck.

Avoid this place if you value peace of mind and sanity. The heating unit in our apartment was ancient—older than aol messenger. Once turned on, there was no temperature control. You either racked up a huge electricity bill due to poor insulation or turned it off and froze. The so-called "AC" was a single unit in the living room that barely cooled that space, let alone the rest of the apartment. The kitchen was also in bad shape. Cabinet doors were becoming loose and unscrewing, and the stove looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades along with the cabinetry and counter tops. (They did update the fridge though - go figure.) Humidity was a major issue. It got so bad we had to send management photos and data from a humidity reader before they finally dropped off a dehumidifier to make

Lived there 4 years; the first 3 with Kimball were great, but my last with Nest was a disaster. In summary of my time with Nest (2024-25): new in-apartment rodent situation, ghosting of all my communications regarding damages resulting from their "maintenance fixes," unjustified/unreasonable security deposit deductions of greater than $500 (my initial deposit was $1350), big rent increases, dog feces everywhere, long maintenance response times, poor snow removal, slow internet that frequently has connectivity issues, etc etc. Stay away from all Nest properties. University Park was great until they took over.
