Janet is a kind and friendly lady. She's probably an excellent grandma. But a terrible realtor and landlord. Communication is a huge problem. She will not return a phone call, and rarely answers calls as they come in. Simple questions would often take several days to get a response. Contractual deadlines came and went, seemingly unnoticed, then documents came back, days later. We found out 2 days before closing that the title wasn't clean on the house we were buying. We had already signed papers on the house we sold, and ended up homeless due to factors that she would have known well in advance had she ever had a single conversation with anyone at the title company. Horrible service, horrible communication. House was listed 2 years ago with Madelaine and has apparently been inactive for over half a year. Her signs are still up at the property because she doesnt even care enough to take them down, but she never bothered to contact me to let me know the listing expired 7 months ago. SELLER BEWARE. If you want someone to be professional and work hard to sell your home she is NOT your realtor. She wouldnt even respond when I asked NUMEROUS TIMES about lowering the price .... what a joke!
