Townhomes at Vista Gardens

Lived here from 2017-2022, at first it was okay, then the management got changed in 2018, and it all went down from there. There are so many things wrong with this place so I will give you a time line. When I moved in 2017, I moved into a front one bedroom, I was promised a parking spot in front of my apartment, which was not given to me and instead it remained unmarked making it to where random people would park there for days if I didn't leave my car stationary there. Then I moved into a two bedroom in 2018, at the very back, I had issues from day one. The refrigerator provided couldn't hold more than a couple things before the compressor would break and make all the food in my freezer and fridge rot. I am very pleased with these apartments. I’ve been in several apartments and even ones that I thought were more nice. But I feel like theses are the nicest so far due to the fact they are completely new on the inside. Not to mention the manager Michelle is wonderful down to earth. Also the leasing agent Lupita is so nice and gets on any problems you have right away. They make a good team. I feel at home and comfortable and you can stop by the office just to say hello and they both welcome you they don’t rush you out. I recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a home. Not just somewhere to live.

Im only giving 1 star because after so many years of my mom living here, I was raised here and I remember how they started in horrible condition to being really nice to horrible again. The management are making these townhomes so ghetto. They do not fix anything and after so many calls still continue to lie and say maintenance will be there next day but they never show up. But when they want to collect rent or make up a lie that you owe money for water etc. they are quick to call. The manager Michelle is so rude. She hung up on my mom and was so unprofessional. I was a witness when my mom paid her rent and water and this lady was giving her a hard time saying she still owes. Hmmm i wouldn't trust management at all. Do not live here. This townhomes are horribly managed. I have been here for about 2 months and I am still waiting for them to come and fix stuff. I gave them a written notice and still nothing has happen. But if you dnt pay your rent they are instantly telling you evictions are going to be filed.The plumbing is horrible I never have enough hot water to do anything or shower... we have to kind of take a risk with the shower, because it will cut off and start with the cold water. Take the time to look for better townhomes, this are not worth it. Should of never moved here, 2 months down 10 months to go. Edit: It is April 2018 now, and I can honestly say they are getting better and better at attending the residents issues. Searching for an apartment is exhausting! [UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE] Lisa and Maria are very unprofessional. $399- move in special $55- non refundable application fee (money order) $150- deposit (money order) We spoke to the manager Lisa on 3/24/21 •gave deposit on 3/24/21 Lisa said we could see the apartment on 4/30/21 and move in on 5/1/2021. After different excuses for why I couldn’t see the apartment much less move in to the apartment Maria and Lisa neglected to call me nor keep us informed about the condition of the apartment. I would not feel comfortable living there or having to deal with them after today.
