Tides at Calabash Apartments

if you’re moving here, ask for Lilli she’s the best! I can’t wait to move in!!! She made everything so easy, and even remembered my name and little details about what I was looking for, which made the whole process feel personal. I ended up with a smaller bedroom closet than some other apartments, but she and the team made me feel completely confident in my choice.plus there is the patio closet in my apt. easy access to stores, and calabash is so cute and quaint. Im just so looking forward to the sweet heat and soft beaches, unlike what we have in Jersey!!

Please read the “fine print”. You will tour a similar home with a washer and dryer, and the website lists washer and dryer as amenities. Once you move from “prospect to resident” you will have to agree to have the monthly $40.00 washer/dryer fee charged to your account. It is incredulous that in this highly competitive market for landlords that washers and dryers would not be included in rental rate quote.

We transferred units and ran into a couple problems but when i tell you the entire staff from the leasing team to the maintenance team were more than happy to help and make everything as smooth as it could possibly be I mean it. They are very helpful and were on top of any problem that came about, the first unit we were in went very smoothly lol this go around moving was a disaster from the get go (not their fault!) so im thankful Christie and the team were so helpful!

Rooms too expensive for the area and there’s no guarantee of a washing machine in your flat. There’s also a no smoking policy, which is not followed at all. It’s not a great area for anything. Somewhat nice staff but too much corporate talk and long waits before they get back to you on anything. They won’t break a lease when you tell them you want that. And if there’s an eviction notice on your flat, they’ll still charge you rent after your original lease has expired. I’d advise anyone with the means to avoid living here. It’s not worth the $1500 minimum rate, accounting for all the fees. If you do stay tho, the neighbors are pretty nice and are willing to help ya when you’re in a bind. And they don’t ask for a deposit of any kind, so that’s the 1 plus.

I was hesitant to move into an apartment after owning my own home but this complex has really made me feel like home. The property is well maintained, everyone is nice, it's quiet, the amenities are well looked after, and the location is great for me. If the trend continues I can see myself staying longer than expected. It's really helped an unanticipated move feel like home.
