Danielle Carrete and her team are excellent. They respond quickly and professionally to all inquiries. Their fees are straightforward and fair; nothing feels nickel and dimed like some other escrow companies that charge for line items like "loan tie-in fees" and extra "e-file" fees. They truly care about each person in the transaction and make the escrow process smooth.

We have bought and sold ten personal residences, and NEVER in my life have I experienced such incompetence. They withhold funds to pay utilities that are already paid and accounts zeroed. They respond with snippy, I do not care attitude, and indifference. When you continually attempt contact with the escrow officer (I use that term loosely) Danielle, you NEVER get a call back, NEVER is she in the office, NEVER is she available. 5 weeks now, and this company still has not refunded funds, continues to pay bills that are not due, then pawns off the responsibility to refund our money to the utility they paid , thereby avoiding responsibility and further delaying refund of funds that never should have been withheld in the first place. In my opinion, never do business with this company.

We used Northern Nevada Title twice, once when selling our parent's home in an estate and once when buying a home in Alaska, (it was a VA assumable and the stack of paper was 4 times higher than normal) In both instances, the people were very polite and knowledgeable about difficult and unusual title issues. Their services were completed correctly the first time and their fees were more than reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.
