Theo Allen Gateway Apartments & Townhomes

This review is solely based on my tour with Mariah. I scheduled a tour with her on Monday and I appreciated that she did not take up too much of my time when I informed her I did not want to look at amenities and only the two top floor units. We toured their model home, so I was able to get a glimpse at what the layout would look like. I was impressed with their full size GE black washer and dryer. The apartment I viewed has never been lived in and was nice. However, it was more of a studio style layout without a door to the bedroom. I would have liked to rent at this location if they offered a one bedroom, top floor, corner unit. However, the timing wasn’t great for me. I appreciated Mariah’s tour, she was lovely to interact with and personable.

I recently rented an office in the Allen Gateway office building at the Theo Allen Gateway Complex. The new offices are very clean and well-run, and the staff is quite responsive to our needs. The Rent represents a very good value in today's office market, and the location is excellent, being close to the intersection of State Highway 121 and West Exchange Parkway. I would highly recommend these offices, as well as apartments in the Theo apartment building, to anyone who might be interested.

The apartment is nice, however, I have had issues with yellow jacket wasps for over a month now and nothing has really happened. They came and sprayed 1 time. I have even walked down there to show them photos of the how bad it is. They are inside my storage room on my patio, and the pest control guy won't even spray again. The nests, 2 in fact, are still on my patio which he told the front desk he removed. They listen to him over what I am experiencing. I know in fact they are not coming from the trees. The bigger nest is on our building somewhere above us, and I know it. I can't even enjoy being outside my patio because I have about 10 that constantly swarm my patio with about 30 still lying dead from his spray. Also, our floor is always filled with weed smell. I have been living at Theo Allen Gateway from past 7 months, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing due to severe noise disturbances from the unit above us. we noticed loud running, jumping, and heavy walking throughout the day. We understand that this is a shared living community, so we tried to be patient and respectful. However, the situation has only become worse. The construction quality of the building is extremely poor. Even when someone simply walks upstairs, our entire unit shakes as if there is thunder striking. When there is running or pets moving around, the vibrations become intense and impossible to ignore. Recently, these noises have become frequent at night — often around 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM — causing us to wake up multiple times and lose sleep. This h
