The Woods on Tara

Starting off the interactions raised no alarms. I was told on 3 different occasions that I would be sent a welcome letter that I never received before two days straight of not being able to reach anyone anymore. No returned emails, no answered phone calls. I’ve been approved for an apartment that I paid a $365 fee for (application and administration) and the deposit for just to find out that the unit they have assigned to me is still occupied!!!! Yes my move in date was less than 5 days away with no welcome letter to date with a current occupant in the unit! I was so In love with the videos of the website, well attached is what the unit really looks like from the outside. Beware. Financial trap.

This complex in my opinion is a nice place to live…all the bad reviews puzzle me because it’s been nothing but good since i moved in, the only thing was the remnants of the dirty downstairs tenants who had left having roaches but were taken care of and are now gone. it’s quiet and the management and maintenance team fix things immediately. put a work order in one evening and the issue was fixed the next morning! the property manager is super sweet and welcoming! staff is very helpful here. i’ve never had any issues.

This place is complete trash. I moved from Missouri to Georgia first of all they didn’t have my apartment ready when I moved here and I’m moving all the way from a different state second of all my apartment had roaches and abundance of them third of all there was a huge leak in my bathroom so my neighbors waste water from her toilet was coming down to my bathroom, I called the office nobody answered and I called multiple times. Nobody answered. I’m a disabled woman and us Mobility Scooter. They don’t have their accessibility lift working. I can’t access the office. It’s really sad they take a long time just to come fix one thing, and I’ve only been here less than two weeks , don’t move here

She recently had a horrifying experience that exposed the severe lack of maintenance and emergency response from the apartment management. Over the weekend, she found not one, but **two snakes in her kitchen** due to unknown hidden holes in the kitchen wall. Naturally, she was terrified and immediately reached out to the building's maintenance crew & mangement. She received no response. With the apartment management office closed for the weekend, she called animal control, but they were also closed. Desperate, she received text finally from apartment manager suggesting she contact the police and the fire department. Bo
