The Woods At Johnson Mill Apartments

I scheduled a move-in date that would allow me to move in a week before I was to start my new job. A week before that day I got a message from the management team that they would have to push back my move-in date by a week to make sure it was ready. When I finally get to move in, my apartment was not even cleaned beforehand. The floors and windows were filthy, all the cabinetry was damaged, the countertops were wobbly, command hooks were on the walls everywhere, the showerhead was missing, the window screens had massive holes in them, the blinds were damaged, the trim & sealing on the walls, doors, and windows was coming apart, and whoever painted managed to get it on the bathtub, sinks, and floor. Have been here 1.5 years now & We love it here. Safe, spacious, quiet, awesome neighbors, and property management is awesome! They work with you on things, are human & very understanding. Maintenance is on top of repairs, even having gone from 2 guys to just 1 at the moment. We have rented a lot of places in the past, and this is bar far the best. Right off Freeway, Walmart market & Casey's & Circle K all about a block up road. Close to Bike trails, has a nice little park, pool, clubhouse, workout room, dog park, and sundeck with gas grill & firepit. Downside; parking is hard at times if not in assigned spot. Worth paying the extra for carport year round with weather. Some property up grades done with no notice...so being woken up to drilling/banging ect...even this yr on Thanksgiving day.

I would not stay at this place ever. After spending two years at this residence, I provided notice that I was not going to renew my lease since I was getting married to the love of my life. BUT this place went ahead and auto renewed my lease without my approval. I gave them notice and they still did this to me. I’ve tried talking to them about it and they told me there is no way to undo this. So, after getting married and buying a new house with my wonderful spouse, this place will not budge on undoing the renewal. I was looking forward to coming back from the honeymoon and enjoying our new house, but instead I am dealing with this financial stress. The customer service was very rude and inconsiderate. I highly recommend finding any other place to live at.

Nice place to live. Never had any big issues. Great location next to the interstate and only a few minutes away from food and baseball! Lots of trails just a few minutes drive away. Approximately 15 minutes (with traffic) to the UoA. Dog friendly complex. Always felt safe here at all times of the day. Johnson Police Department rolls through a few times a day. Management team is very friendly and responds well to requests. Great communication. Move in and move out process was simple (so was the living part!). Maintenance team is great. Always a pleasure to chat with and friendly. They definitely work hard to keep everything operating. I wish you all the best!

The Woods at Johnson Mill is a great place for someone working in the medical field. They waived my deposit when I moved in because hospitals in this area are on their preferred list. It is quiet, clean, friendly staff, attentive maintenance, nice neighbors, and I really love that I have access to the fitness center and tanning room any time of the day or night. The apartments have just been painted and they have a new fun area for our dogs. My top favorites about this place is that people are nice, the community is well kept, I am close to the interstate/work/shopping, and I know if I call in to get something fixed that they will be in to fix it very soon (most times in the same day). They also spray for bugs every couple of months and I only have to pay $3/month for that. I can't see mys
