The Woodlands

I loved this place! I lived here (2015-2016) while I was in school. It was perfect! Rooms are just the right size. All apartment homes (2 or 3 BR) have 2 full bathrooms. The property is very well maintained, quiet community. People clean up after their pets, so you don't have to worry about stepping in poo. It's also super close to the Opelika Recreation Center, which is awesome, by the way. If I ever lived in the area again, this is the very first place I would go to!!! It's awesome!!!!!

I drove around the location and it looks really good, and the rental price listed online was decent, but I couldn't tell you whether it's a good place to live because the company apparently doesn't want to rent to people. I made multiple calls over the course of a week to each of the many numbers found online for the property and the owning company (which all forward to the same line) and left multiple voicemails and never got a callback. There was no on-site office that I could find. This is a problem I've had with many rental properties and leasing agents during my search over the last month. I don't know how they stay in business if they don't actually respond to people looking to rent.

How do people even lease here lol ? This has been one of the hardest places to find more information on renting. I'm on year 3 (literally) of calling with no answer from all posted numbers. I'd love to know how great of a place it is to live if someone answered the phone or responded to emails.
