The Summit At Owings Mills

A lovely place to live! The maintenance were always timely (and one of them always wore a mask!) and helped to make sure things got settled. Karen is also a wonderful and kind leasing office manager. The pool was great--not many people there on the weekends aside from a bday party every now and then--, but the only thing that was unfortunate was the smell from neighbors at times.

I lived in the summit apartments for four years and the only thing good about them was the space. The first was the disrespectful neighbors. The second year was the ants and the third and fourth year were the ice and roaches and ant. I would not recommend this place to my friends or enemies.

I have stayed in six different apartments in my lifetime, and this was by far the worst one. The only good thing about this place in the end was that it was near my university. We had the most disrespectful and loud neighbors that lived on the floor under us. They would blast their TV so loudly to the point where I could hear which TV show they were watching, and the floors would shake. After complaining multiple times, we were told by the leasing office that there was not much they could do. So you better hope you have good neighbors, because there is nothing the staff can do to help you. Also, almost a year after moving out, we received a bill for a carpet replacement because there was a small hole and a couple of stains from the cat. I’ve been a tenant for almost 2 years. Im a review person and the reviews alone sold me. For the area the size of my apartment it’s nothing bad I could possible say I had a third level the lighting for planters is a WIN!! All of the rooms are very spacious I was able to make my kitchen area a green area with a pub style table set along with a separate dining area of its own. Of all the good things I have to say I must say the property manager Karen is if not one the sweetest personable property managers I’ve dealt with. She’s familiar with faces doesn’t seem like they want to just take your money she’s patient communicates well and in a timely manner with an issue which honestly the issue I had was regular apartment issues. We chose to stay here because Karen, the property manager/leasing agent, was so kind and made us feel like we could trust this company. We moved from an Avalon complex because our rent was increasing over $400 a month. Nothing special about these apartments. Very Outdated, but affordable. The gym has equipment that doesn’t even work, but I think serves to make it look fuller. Our cars were scratched up by people’s car doors multiple times, but there are no cameras so you can’t prove anything. Most of our stay was mediocre at best. There’s a huge ant problem (in the apartments and a million anthills outside! In the summer you definitely can’t miss them, so gross) The AC went out twice in the summer (which in 10 years of renting apartments has never even happened once, so that tells you so
