We moved into our rental in June 2023 and experienced problems from the very beginning. On the first day of move-in, we were locked out of the home. We were provided with two sets of keys, but only one worked. When I stepped outside, the door automatically locked, and we had never been given the access code. It took a week or so to obtain the code because the owners were overseas. We initially viewed the property through a realtor via FaceTime. During that showing, we noticed the walls, carpets, and overall condition of the home were not clean. We were assured the property would be cleaned prior to move-in. We’ve been living in a condo managed by Chesapeake property management for 3 years now, it’s been a fantastic experience. Tim handles maintenance calls quickly and always works around our busy schedule, which his honestly something that is extremely under appreciated. Heather always gets back to us quickly when we have any questions or concerns, and she is an unsung hero in that office to all of us tenants. We are coming up on our 4th year renting with them and we are so grateful to have found them.

I just moved in and was told repairs were completed before I moved in when in fact they were not. The house was not cleaned the repairs were not done. Filthy dirty carpet that stunk very bad and the issues still haven't been addressed. The owner's attitude towards tenants and her responsibility is appalling. These repairs were discussed weeks in advance of my move-in. I do not recommend going through this company to manage your property or to rent. The vendors they state they use are unreliable and unprofessional. Holes in the walls, ripped up screens, unhealthy living environment. Far from a pleasant experience.

I have had the pleasure of renting my beautiful home from Chesapeake Property Management for 3 years. The home is clean, well managed, and in a great area. Renting with this property management company has been such a peaceful experience. There aren't many issues that arise in the home but when something does go wrong the problem is fixed immediately with contractors who specialize in that field. I have never rented and received services the way Chesapeake Property Management has given me. If I ever decide to purchase a home or have a home rented I would definitely choose Chesapeake Property Management to manage my property. They are outstanding.
