The Shield Apartments

Worst experience I've ever had in Madison WI. Packages stolen. Lease doesn't make sense. They have the incorrect balance listed due or paid. They even forged a federal government tax form and lied about my income so they could receive the tax credits! The tenants aren't bad it's trespassing individuals who make me uncomfortable to even come home late at night. If you move here MAKE SURE TO READ YOUR LEASE cuz they don't care about anything or anyone...

Building is made very poorly there is very little insulation wall closest to outside is freezing at all times and you can feel air blowing in from beneath the window. Packages are constantly getting stolen management doesn’t care/doesn’t help at all. People are sleeping on the stair case.. It’s good if u have no other option I suppose.

Management hasn’t answered a phone call or email since I’ve lived here. They charge for late fees when they don’t scan the check in on time. Paying online is like $40. & they have me in an apartment that’s too expensive based off my income.

Hey im not here to beaut cha up but ByGolly No one never answers the phone. Then when the vm greeting comes on it doesn't even specify what business it is(unbelievable)No matter how much you call that 608-219 number they do not answer, maybe just maybe if u call 1st thing when there open in morning u just may perhaps get someone, but after that thats it mannn dont know if theyd ever answer again i mean this is a new business just opening its ridiculous people need homes. Im scared to do an app becuz i maynot get an answer, OH C'OMe onn Sheild Apartments. Just get ur business running professionally. Good Luck to you guy's.
