Docken Management

EDIT: the condo guy got back to me so generally Docken is good on all fronts! ORIGINAL: The properties that they personally manage are great, but I would not sign on to any condo which they manage. As I said, Docken is pretty good as far as landlords go, but some of those condo landlords really really suck. One disappeared and refuses to respond to rental certificate requests. I'll be asking Docken if they can do anything about that, given that they sort of co-manage those properties. I trust Docken.

[Lakewood Gardens] From beginning to end, this rental company has been nothing short of amazing. Paul and Anne are very friendly, approachable, reasonable, and delightful rental managers to have. They genuinely care about what they do, which tends to make quite a difference. Not to mention, these two are some of the most responsible and trustworthy people I have come across during my apartment searches. Their office is located in a unit in the middle of the Lakewood complex, which makes for quick, accessible conversations and rent turn-ins, as well as adding to the comfortable feel of the whole experience (including cookies and an aquarium!) Docken Management is a fantastic team to work with if you are looking for an apartment or housing in Madison. Having two daughters graduate from UW-Madison I have worked with several property management companies and Docken is far above the rest. The properties are clean and safe. My daughter has stayed in two different apartments, and both times they were thoroughly cleaned and ready with a fresh coat of paint. Paul and team make the lease, move-in and move-out process efficient and easy. And, the team is incredibly responsive to inquiries and maintenance requests. Paul, Gail and all the maintenance guys are always responsive, professional and courteous. A top notch team to work with.

Lived here for two years and it was great. Paul was always friendly and easy to work with, and much more flexible than the big management companies in Madison. Maintenance requests were typically looked at and fixed within 24 hours of contacting the office. The price was super reasonable compared to similarly sized units in the area. Really enjoyed it and will miss living there.

Docken has such a great management and maintenance team. They're so responsive and care about the property. They are not your average rental company. I've lived in two different units as a renter (Lakewood Gardens).They offer different style units and some are really unique and customized based on previous owners/renters.
