The Continental

When we first moved to Madison, we looked around at many different apartments before deciding on Continental, and we’ve been so happy with that choice ever since. We ended up staying here for two and a half years and enjoyed it all along. Since we came from another country, everything was new and unfamiliar—the language, the culture, even daily life. But from the very first lease, the patience, kindness, and professionalism of the Continental staff made us feel welcome, safe, and at ease. Continental really has it all: excellent access to downtown, parks, and lakes; clean and cozy interiors; thoughtful community amenities; and thoughtfully planned community events. All of this is backed by a team whose work is always quick, professional, and courteous.

We were among the very first tenants at The Continental Apartments and brand new to Madison, and it immediately felt like home thanks to the amazing staff. Taylor, the manager, was always so reliable, kind, and genuinely cared about how we were settling in—he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Chad, who takes care of maintenance, was just as incredible—always so friendly, quick to help, and never without a smile on his face. The building itself is beautiful, safe, and quiet, with top-notch amenities. Our apartment had modern finishes and a stunning view of the water. Living in the Continental is great. Just blocks from the capital (and next to the bus rapid route), it takes minutes to get to state street or Willy street. James Madison Park is right down the road as well as plenty of small businesses and shops. The sunsets are great, and you get a view of both lakes from the top (seeing the sunset and fireworks while grilling on 4th of july is amazing). Taylor is always super helpful and friendly! He hosts great tenant events in the 10th floor room and across the street at Prost. Any maintenance needed gets done within less than a day. The Continental is by far the nicest apartment building in downtown Madison. The management is responsive to any issues that arise and the amenities are great. We really enjoyed our time here and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and safe place to call home.

I moved to Madison from the East Coast and had to find a place to live on short notice. Taylor and the property management team made me feel so comfortable that I signed my lease without ever seeing the apartment in person. When I finally arrived, not only was the apartment exactly what I hoped for, but all the furniture I had ordered ahead of time (there was a lot) had been neatly placed inside my unit, which came with a welcome bottle of bourbon. Taylor and the team have consistently gone above and beyond to make this place feel like home (curated events, coffee/treats, and other thoughtful touches). I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time living here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
