The Scholar Apartments

I have been living here for almost a year and loving it here. The property manager, Mike Murphy is the best! He is always very attentive and supportive to make sure we live comfortably in our apartment. The whole crew behind The Scholars are all very nice and supportive as well. I'm renewing my lease for a few more years for sure!

The management office is simply incapable. Think twice before deciding whether you want to move here. There were so many issues that were handled poorly by the management team when I lived there for 2 years (no heat with zero manager response during negative degrees, missing packages, no security protocols for the entrance, and more)

We lived here for two years during my husband's schooling at Kellogg. We felt that this was the best value of the large, common Kellogg buildings. The apartments are much bigger than some of the other high rises with similar or even lower prices. The amenities are also pretty great and this is a quieter building, which was important to me as a working individual. And we wouldn't be able to leave a review for the building without talking about the people that make it great. The property manager, Mike, has always been responsive and helpful. He's incredibly kind and knows everyone's names, always greeting you when you see him. He cares a lot about his residents. He even went above and beyond and saved a package for my husband that he accidentally had delivered to the building after we moved

We lived at Centrum from 2019 to 2021 and were pleased with the experience. Day-to-day management is top notch and responsive to in-unit requests. The common spaces are always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for the student/partner experience. Caroline is a hardworking and attentive property manager, and was very accommodating of any special requests we had while traveling (allowing others to access the unit, mail holding, etc.). Despite some on and off issues (what building doesn't have them?) with plumbing, heat, internet, we're always confident that building management is on the case and will communicate updates as quickly as possible.

Mike, the building manager is amazing and incredibly responsive! Though I moved out of the building over a year and a half ago, when I accidentally sent a package to this address instead of my current address in California, Mike was sympathetic and very helpful. I sent an email to the general building email address in the hopes they would be able to forward me the package. Mike got back to me within the day and then proceeded to work with me as we determined the best way to forward the package. This would have never happened under the old management!
