1717 Evanston

1717 was our home for around 4 years. The management is very helpful and we never had any issues with service requests. We love the property, the amenities, fun activities organised by management(even during Covid we had zoom bingo and plant care sessions). Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

My experience here is absolutely great! I am new to 1717 and I reached out to the office this morning regarding a spill in the common area and spoke to Cole and the job was done same day and in a professional and courteous manner! Cole goes above and beyond to help with any questions I have and I appreciate her leadership here as the building is always clean and she is professional and gets the job done. They also host great activities here for the tenants and had a phenomenal holiday dinner last week. The entire staff Ryan and Mike are great as well! The building maintenance staff is also good. Thank you all!

1717 in Evanston is a wonderful building that my clients love! Majority of my clients end up resigning their leases here! That says a lot about how much they enjoy it. They are very accommodating and the management and leasing staff is beyond amazing! I have worked with this building for 4 years now and love coming here. My girlfriend and I moved from FL and were stressed about finding a new place to call home, however, 1717 Evanston has made the move simply and amazing. The apartment has a great gym, it is located close to both the Metra and L, the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, and the maintenance team is top notch they are quick and efficient. Additionally, the apartments host Yoga on Saturday which is a nice touch it feels almost like having a private session.

Rented a studio during pandemic so the price is not too bad. But my unit was not a renovated one and there are roaches in the kitchen! The screen door doesn’t work since there are gaps between it and the ground. You will see spiders, flying insects (that you typically see near the lake) and even ladybirds all over the window and sometimes in your unit! Wow, great place if you love insects! Sound insulation is so so, you can hear the sound of your fridge every a few minutes and people talking in the hallway. And worse still, there were random fire alarms that went off out of nowhere and the sound is just unbearable that I felt I would be deaf! What if this thing went off during my interview?? And the film of my floor started to peel of after I spilled some water and did not clean it right
