Albion Evanston

Very nice modern building and comfortable apartment. However, it's pretty overpriced given the issues I experienced: 1. The Metra train runs down the side of the building, which is constant noise from early morning till past midnight. 2. The grills hardly worked the entire time I lived at Albion - even after reporting it twice, they were never fixed. They all need replacing. 3. For apartments without balconies, you can't open the window more than an inch, which made it feel quite claustrophobic. 4. The amenity fees start off reasonable, then skyrocket half way through your lease to unreasonable amounts. 5. Rooftop - no dedicated individual workspaces and lots of parties even for non-residents - very disruptive. 6. The Albion Evanston team are nice people, but it either takes them ages to r

From the moment we moved in, we’ve felt right at home. The building is beautifully modern with thoughtful details throughout, from the sleek design to the cozy common spaces. The amenities are incredible, and the sky roof and pool are truly the standouts, with gorgeous views and a relaxing, boutique-hotel feel that we enjoy all summer long. As dog parents, we’re especially grateful for how much The Albion loves pets. Our pup, Freya, is treated like family and gets all the friendly greetings to the endless treats at the front desk. I love living at Albion! Units are spacious and amenities are really top notch, views of the Chicago skyline from the pool deck are the best in Evanston. The staff is also amazing! Always willing to help and making things easy for us. Would 100% recommend!!

apartment is a scam. nonresponsive you have to send 100 emails and even than still no response. they charge a $600 admin fee upon applying and if not approved they're supposed to refund you. which don't happen. you will have to dispute the charge with your bank. make promises they cannot keep. run far away from this place. pretty sure the good reviews are people who left the review in exchange for rent credit or some kind of compensation. Management is horrible. literally a horrific experience. take your money and business elsewhere. beautiful building though.

The location is excellent and within walking distance of the lake and downtown Evanston. The amenities are great, and the common areas are always clean. The staff are friendly and responsive, and I'd like to specifically thank Shandora, Mina, Greg, and Dennis for being so welcoming and helpful!
