The Rose Apartments

I applied for this apartment because it was literally the cheapest option I could find, and after being told my credit was good and that we make enough income to comfortably pay the rent and other expenses, they still say we need a co-signer who makes $7,000 a month just to move in. That requirement is honestly ridiculous. This isn’t even a luxury apartment complex. It’s a place that is mostly marketed toward students. If that’s the case, how exactly are students supposed to qualify for this? Most students definitely aren’t making $7,000 a month, and most people don’t have someone in their life who can casually co-sign while making that kind of money. What makes even less sense is that they also accept people who use Section 8 or other rental assistance programs. If rental assistance is

Disgusting amount of roaches everywhere. Literally swarms of them coming from apartments and they end up coming under my door. I've never kept food out and always keep my space clean but I still have to live with it while paying $2000 a month for rent.

I moved here to go to CSUN and I love how close and how affordable it is! Sara is always super helpful and a delight to talk to. Edwin was so kind to help me get a heavy package up to my apartment. The employees here in general are wonderful. I’m so happy I chose this place to stay!

I have lived here for years and I’ve never seen this place run this badly. In just the last few weeks everything has completely fallen apart. I heard they fired someone from the office and ever since then it’s been a total mess. The manager does not care how the property looks nothing ever gets fixed in the public areas. The manager, Fred, honestly seems like he has no idea what’s going on in general. no organization, no communication, and no follow-through on anything. It really feels like no one is in control anymore. And don’t get me started on the roaches

Moved out months ago but was sad to go. This is a great place to live for students, I love that they have study rooms and the pool is so nice. I made so many friends and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Shout out to Sara, Samantha and Nuha for making my living stay a great one.
