The Residences at Shaker Square

Front door not accessible to delievery drivers require someone to knock in order to access residents. Receptionist answered the door very rudely and screamed as package was being delivered and slammed the door without taking package. Delievery drivers beware residents im sorry you have to deal with her! Management should evaluate customer service.

The elevators never work and are kept off most of the time in a 7 floor building. U have to walk up and down a million stairs 24/7 in a 7 floor building. The heat is always off in the winter time. Roaches and ants are all over the place. The elevators being off 24/7 is cruel and hell to anyone on the higher floors.

When I first moved in, it was fabulous. The floor plan is spacious. However, 2 weeks after I moved in there was flooding with my apartment. I notified them immediately, submitted a work order.. and that was back in July. Since then, a number of issues have continued to come up, including no electricity in the master bedroom and problems with the toilet. Each time, work orders went unanswered. I had to go to the office 4 times before those issues were taken care of. The Housing Department has been by several times and documented the code violations in the building. You can Google the news stories on this place. They are currently being sued by the city. My personal property has incurred over $1000 in damage from the living conditions. New maintenance and property Management are basically a joke they making promises there is no heat as of December 2024 they keep promising the tenants today today today today today today that has yet to come the space heaters are tripping the breakers which means electricity is going out on a regular and then the water pipes that are busting because there is no heat is causing damage into units and then they're not repairing them As of June 2025 they have a shut-off notice for the electric in the entire building for $209,000

Very nice and spacious apartments with all amenities included in monthly leases. Clean lobby and secure entrance, well lit and Security Cameras on premises.
