The Residence at Turnberry Apartments

When I first arrived to tour at the designated time(appt at 11:30) I knocked at the leasing door multiple times (11:33) because the knob didn’t turn. I stood on the porch waiting then returned to my car to call the number used to schedule. A few minutes later I received a text with the leasing office direct number. Called leasing agent to inquire about my appointment, told her I tried to enter but the door was locked. She told me how to do the knob to enter. Once I entered, I explained to her I had been knocking on the door multiple times. She blatantly told me there was no knock instead of apologizing or saying maybe that she didn’t hear any knocking👀 I replied with…you guys have cameras on your porch right? That was the start of a downward tour but I held out hope. I told the young lady

i never leave reviews but thought this was an experience worth sharing. i just moved out of this complex about six months ago. we decided not to resign after the constant fluctuation in rent every month. we signed the lease expecting to pay $1600/ monthly and sometimes we’re paying close to $2,000 instead. aside from that, when we first moved in, the apartments were not clean whatsoever. there were stains on the walls, holes in the windows, bugs EVERYWHERE, etc.. the place was just dirty. but the worst part is that when we moved out, they wouldn’t give us our security deposit of $1600 back bc they accused us of “running into the garage” with our car due to their being a missing wood chunk on the outside of the garage. mind you, these apartments are very old and none of them are in good con

Antonio Acklin was very prompt when given the work order to see about my kitchen light. He was timely and asked exactly what was going on with the light. He replaced the 3 bulbs and informed me that the plexiglass has been ordered and when it comes in he would install it. He was very knowledgeable of his work and was very kind and polite.

Where do I even begin? This place is absolutely horrible. MOLD INFESTED!!! Spiders and random bugs EVERY WERE!! Please do not move here! For starters I moved in December 2023 I signed a lease for $1400 rent which included water and other fees. January rent was due and I was charged $1460 to the effect. When I called and questioned the up charge I was told that the extra 60$ was for the water bill AFTER being told that water was included in the flat rate of 1400$ a month. There was nothing I could do to fix it. I was now stuck paying almost 1500$ for rent when my lease says my rent is 1400$. I was late paying rent 1 month due to starting a new job and not getting my first paycheck yet! I was issued a notice to vacate or risk being evicted. I went to court to try and explain my situation.
