I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad. My dad moved to the Pickerington area five years ago to be closer to me as he had retired and needed to live closer to family. He lived in Lake’s Edge for nearly five years and it was a wonderful community for him. He felt like it was “home” for him and he always appreciated his apartment. Maintenance was quick to respond to any issues, and I never worried about his safety there. Dad passed away a few weeks ago and the management was very understanding about our move-out process and very sympathetic to our needs. I would highly recommend this community. Great people and great apartments.

My 2 star rating is due to the water bill being highly excessive and was not communicated at the time of the lease. My base rent is $1172 and the water bill is often close to $200.00 per month. If you decide to leave here be aware this fee is not discussed at time of move in. My last rent payment was $1393 on a base rent of $1172. Additionally the 2nd floor apartment I was in has squeaking an creaking floor. I move in sight unseen due to a work relocation and that was an expected surprise. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, which is the good thing. I would give 5 stars, but their failure to disclose the excessive cost of the water bill is why they only get 2 stars.

From the private community, nestled into a park like setting to the very modern apartments that are well maintained. This community is a nature lovers dream. Take a walk in this peaceful and serene setting or grab your fishing pole and try your luck in a lake that’s so clear you can actually see the fish. If you’d like to just sit and take in all the beauty there Is no lack of gorgeous mature trees but benches are also provided. You’ll see nature first hand. From the swan and Canadian geese to mallard ducks and even a turtle here & there, they all call this home as well. The leasing office is warm and inviting as is the staff. You are welcomed here. **Response to Lakes Edge comment* That doesn't explain the 3 years without this issue, the letter on my door telling me to pay to AVOID the late fees that had already been added, the several days it took for me to be told it's my fault, therefore I needed to pay the late fees before I even got my account reviewed to remove the late fees. When I'm told that several people have this issue, all that comment says to me is that you're aware this is an issue, yet you still put contradictory letters on people's doors to charge them more for a system error. *Quick review* Pros: I never had a problem with break-ins. Cons: Possible scam attempt. Paint and carpet were AWFUL, Insulation was bad, almost $200 in fees added to rent, and what made me leave was the potential scam attempt as well as rent g

I visited the complex recently and had such a great experience! The staff was super friendly, and Jean Adler was especially helpful , he made everything so easy and enjoyable. I also love that they host events every month, such a nice touch that really brings the community together!
