First and foremost - if that KW reject of a salesman tells you that you'll have access to the Fox Ridge pool and tennis courts, that's NOT true! Fox Ridge is a completely separate community with separate management and Board. This builder does not honor their warranty. Take it from a fool who bought a Hughston in 2016. My backdoor is still leaking, and they never would fix it. We started complaining in 2016. They stopped responding in 2017. Run, run far away! Update: They're still a garbage builder. I found out they used Allura fiber cement siding - a product that was under massive recall. Rather than doing the right thing, you have to go thru a class action suit to get it fixed. I purchased a brand new home from Houghston Homes in 2021. At time of walk through before closing I noted that the yard was VERY uneven and flooding. I addressed it at closing. They signed LEGAL documents promising to fix the issue within 30 days. It has been over a year now and they have not fixed the issue. I’ve been given the run around non stop. I filed a complaint with the BBB and when they did come to do some cosmetic repairs inside the house the supervisor acted rudely, I imagine it was because I complained to the BBB. I do have legal paperwork that they signed and agreed to, if that does not motivate them to do the right thing, then I don’t know what will. Ever since my husband and I purchased our home here we have been lied to. Our home flooded right before we closed. They replaced the hardwood floors never covered them. had to tell them to open the walls or give us a one year mold free guarantee. They opened the walls closed them up still seeing the seams. Mind you all of these workers coming in with muddy boots scratching the floors. Chris told us they were going to repair it. Yep by restraining. 30 day warranty came we wanted to have the floor redone and everything was blamed on our dog. To do dishes by hand you need to waste about 5 to 10 gallons of water to get hot water to your sink. Nothing done about it. My husband and I was looking to purchase a hughston Homes,but was told that they all sold..but we looked on the wed and it was showing for sale..I deciced to call, I left message for them to call me back,never returned my phone call..so we dedcided to go else where...
