Customer Reviews
The Pike Apartments wholeheartedly recommended to anyone seeking a high-quality living experience in a vibrant and convenient location. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, layout is spacious and well designed, offering plenty of natural light and excellent flow. The management team has been professional, friendly and responsive to needs. Check- in The Pike, and you will not go wrong!!!!
I attempted to apply for an affordable unit at this property and had a very frustrating experience from start to finish. I was denied for “making too much money,” even after explaining that the income they calculated was temporary and no longer accurate. I was told they must base eligibility on potential future income, including possible overtime, which I find unfair—affordable housing should be based on current income, not hypothetical earnings. Communication was extremely poor. It took multiple attempts just to get a tour, and when I finally did, the staff member was unprepared and unclear about what I was even applying for. Every time I reached out, I seemed to deal with a different new staff member, which made the process confusing and inconsistent. The property has already had a pro
I had a wonderful experience working with Monica and Carlos during my application process at The Pike. Monica was incredibly transparent and communicative from start to finish, she made sure I understood every step of the application as well as any associated fees. Her professionalism and responsiveness truly set her apart and made the entire process seamless. I also had the pleasure of touring the property with Carlos, who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything The Pike has to offer. He highlighted the brand-new appliances and features in the apartments, and his pride in the property was evident. Although I won’t be moving in this year, I’m extremely grateful for Monica’s help and hope to call The Pike home in the future. Monica is the true embodiment of what a property man
I went through the full application process at The Pike Newington but ultimately decided not to sign a lease, and I’m glad I didn’t. The rent and amenity fees are already high for what you get, but the real dealbreaker was the leasing manager, Monica, and the way she handled the concession promotion. My wife and I were planning to sign an 18-month lease for a 2 bed/2 bath (1025 sq ft, $2,700/mo + $125 amenity fee) to take advantage of their “3 months free” concession. Due to personal circumstances, we couldn’t move in until mid-September and asked to start the lease then. Monica insisted that the promotion was only available through the end of August. Fine. I agreed to start on August 31 so we could still qualify. Then she told me we couldn’t start on August 31 because they “only start l
My only complaint is that the amenities are misleading and seem to be a way to essentially bump up the rent price. The amenities are advertised to include your own private high speed internet. I asked several times prior to moving in and was told each time that the internet in my apartment was my own. However, the internet included is actually shared between everyone in the building, which can often times lead to unstable and slower internet during peak hours. If this was advertised more was a community wide WiFi rather than your own “private” internet connection, then it would have saved me a lot of headache dealing with internet issues. I highly recommend contacting Cox and setting up your own internet plan before moving in if you are reliant on stable internet. I’ve run into several i
