The Peninsula at Bartow

I'm happy to be living there. I waited over 3 years or better to move there. I moved from Lakeland to Bartow. My electricity bill doubled with the "power cost" Bartow charges. I still love this place. Nice and quiet, no kids scratching my car. Instead of building all these thousands of houses, build a power plant.

My mother lives in this community and I would not recommend this community to any elder! Her lease states that smoking anywhere inside of the buildings is strictly prohibited but yet when I go visit my mother her apartment smells like cigarettes. She has medical conditions such as severe asthma and COPD. Which she has a doctors note to prove her condition. She has made several complaints to the leasing office but nothing as been done to in force the non smoking addendum. They need to make an attempt to do better by cleaning and in forcing the rules for this community.

Pool,shuffleboard,elevator, community activities. Office staff is amazing. Very well kept.

Great place to live so far it’s got great places to rent

I am not a resident at The Meeting House but I am a contractor who has worked with this property for 5 years now. Elizabeth the manager and much of her staff have been there since I started serviceing them and probably much longer. They have always been super nice to me and made working with them very enjoyable. Thank you to the office and maintenance staff for all there hard work.
