I had an appointment with Barbara this afternoon for a 1 bedroom view and tour. The minute I entered the office, Barbara introduced herself and she was very nice and friendly, as well as a young lady who was working there at the office with her. They both made me feel welcomed. Barbara showed me a couple of 1 bedroom apartments, two different properties, and I liked both but especially the one at Patrick Apartments. Nice and renovated. Overall, my experience was great.

I strongly advise anyone considering these apartments to think twice and get everything in writing. We broke our lease after months of ongoing issues, primarily repeated unauthorized entries by maintenance. For nearly a year, the apartment below us had a leak, and maintenance would enter our unit with little to no notice, often barging in while my wife was home alone. On one occasion, a maintenance worker walked into our bathroom while she was completely unclothed and casually asked if he could “fix the leak while she finished.” This was extremely inappropriate, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. Despite the property being under new management, I haven’t noticed a difference. The pool opened near the end of the summer for children and in general. It’s probably only been open for 2 months or a month and a half and this is what the pool looks like. Also, if you need something fixed, don’t count on it, especially if it’s a big problem. The office staff tells you to just keep putting in requests when I shouldn’t need to. Several, and I mean several tenants got eviction notices because of the mistakes the management has made in the past and present. Some got it because the old system wasn’t keeping up with rent, they lost people’s deposit proof, they lost tenants leases, or their electric bill wasn’t being paid and the management even said to keep paying a fixed rate. Dealing with this apartment complex was incredibly frustrating. Reaching anyone by phone was nearly impossible — my calls were constantly ignored, and when I did finally get a response, it was usually at the last minute with some issue or change that should’ve been communicated much earlier. Barbara was especially unprofessional. She would tell me one thing, then completely change her story two days later without any explanation. It felt like I was being strung along, and there was zero accountability. The whole experience was disorganized, stressful, and a complete waste of time. If you value clear, honest communication and being treated with basic professionalism, I’d think twice before renting here. They clearly have no urgency or respect for your time.
