My family and I found a house last year that we fell in love with. After getting the approvals and inspection...we found that there were some items that needed to be addressed. One of the most important items, was termites. The inspector had found damage and evidence of termites. The Sellers Agent quickly tried to persuade us to believe that it was old damage and the colony was no longer alive or active. We had had a horrible experience with termites in a past rental, and were very insistent that we needed to be completely satisfied that there were no termites.
