Customer Reviews
I had a very disappointing experience living in this apartment. The biggest issue was the water problems, which were constant and never properly fixed. Water pressure was unreliable, and there were frequent interruptions without notice. Maintenance was slow to respond and often ignored requests altogether. Management did not take tenant concerns seriously, which made living here very frustrating. overall, this apartment was not worth the rent. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or well-managed. Even though I left the apartment clean when I moved out, management still charged a $250 cleaning fee. The apartment was in good condition, and this charge felt unfair and unjustified. There was no clear explanation for why this fee was applied.
I just recently moved here. The upkeep of the building is great, but the apartments are old and outdated. The apartment that I moved into was not the apartment that I initially applied for or wanted. There are water stains in the bathroom and hallway closet that look like it was from an old water leak. I took pictures of everything to document so I’m not charged for anything when I move out. I haven’t even been here a month yet. I ordered some rugs and some other things for my apartment. One of my packages that was delivered by UPS went missing. I called the manager to try to find out what happened to my package and he had no idea what happened to it. I had to call Amazon and report my package stolen and luckily I was about to get a refund. I was very upset. I thought this was supposed to
The apartment itself is very spacious, pool is deep and clean, it’s a good neighborhood, etc. The property management however, sucks. Will monitor who visits you at your home, inflate fees, they have a rat issue, the neighbors and caretaker feel entitled to know what unit you live in—not their business. Can’t do laundry past 10pm when residents will hog the washer & dryer until closing time. Wouldn’t recommend for younger adults. It should honestly be a 55+ living facility.
The building and location itself is nice but management is terrible and does nothing to fix any problems. I had someone steal my groceries after they moved in for ONE day and had proof of it and management did nothing about it. A week later my packages and other residents packages were getting stolen and once again they said there’s nothing they can do about it and are allowing people’s property to get stolen and they take no responsibility on any theft. Their solution is to get an Amazon locker when I should feel comfortable ordering packages to my home and not have to worry about people stealing. They also didn’t like that our bumper was off when doing work on our car and threatened to have it towed regardless of the lease not saying anything about the cosmetic look of cars. The rooms we
I moved into the Mendota in September and absolutely LOVE my apartment, I have a 1 bedroom unit that is very spacious, updated kitchen with nice granite countertops. Quiet and peaceful building, there is some highway noise if you are on the back side of the building facing highway but it is not terrible. You can enjoy a cup of coffee on your deck on a nice summer day. Management is quick to responding to any questions you have in a friendly-professional manner. Maintenance is also prompt to completing requests in a day or two typically. The residents here are also very welcoming, some may not be as friendly. The building is clean and well kept. There is an indoor pool you can hangout in along with a sauna, gym and a community room, also the best part is the Mendota provides a car wash area
