Stoneridge of Mendota

EDIT July 2025: I see they changed the location to seem like it’s part of the Vikings Practice Complex. It is NOT. It is off of Highway 62 and Charleston St. in West St. Paul. Lived here for only 6 months during the winter/spring of 2021-2022 until a housing situation was resolved. Overall not a terrible place to live. They've made and keep making updates to a very dated building, and it's generally a clean facility. Updates include: lobby and party room, new gym with great machines and weight equipment, updated stainless still appliances in the kitchen with really nice quartz countertops, and LVT in the main living areas. Used to be a great building, but ownership and multiple management company changes ruined the place. They remodeled a perfectly fine entry way (that you spend none of your time in) and jacked up rent a couple hundred bucks a month. Also note the building is in West St. Paul, but new management tries to appear hip by calling it "Mendota". You will hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and opening / closing drawers, and you should plan to watch the same tv channel as them. You will hear your next door neighbors bowel movements and snoring. There is no soundproofing between units. You will hear a great deal of noise from the hallway. Those noise issues were not such an issue when they had stringent admissions standards (i.e. high credit scores, no criminal record), but the new own

Beautiful apartment. The new management is great, the neighbors are excellent, and I love this location!! I use the workout room regularly. The community room is excellent. This is a quiet and safe place to live- I recommend Stoneridge to any friends who are looking to move to this area. The outdoor pool is so nice in the summer!!

Stoneridge maintenance and staff have been very quick to deal with problems and are very good at communication. The floors do not seem to be good at blocking out footsteps however so you may be bothered by the noise, doesn't bother me personally.
