They will take your money consistently, not reduce their workforce and won't return your calls about projects going on in your own complex. The neighbors/tenants end up disclosing what's trully happening with these projects. Some projects enable strangers to go into the premises especially if there have been incidences of danger within the complex, in the past. Those tend to be recurring. Do not purchase a property in an HOA that this company manages. The front office won't allow you in even for questions about the HOA. They act is if they're scared of their own community... wonder why... The property manager barely responds and takes an ungodly length of time to respond. Run from their properties. Property manager tried to derail the sale of our home, he failed but it was still a costly delay. I made numerous complaint that were left unresolved and without even a response. And I'm talking about actual safety and wellbeing such as 50+ ft large trees with limbs that need removing on HOA property, sprinkler system flooding certain areas, or mail keys not working, and the overzealous tow company towing vehicles that weren't even in violation just because a Karen said so. I have a property in El Cajon in which Helm Management is supposed to manage. They pretty much just take your money without doing anything for you, including a simple return phone call. After reading all of their reviews, I don't understand how the BBB doesn't take action.

Considering the fact that management companies are hired by HOA’s to take care of their interests on a day to day basis, a rating of one star for this group is overly generous. Notwithstanding their equally low rating by others who have commented on that subject, it seems there is universal agreement. They are uneducated in the Davis-Stirling Act (Cal. Civil. Code) that governs condominium properties; boards retiring to executive session, use of reserve funding and how Rules & Regulations are created and updated to name a few.
