The Hamlet

The Hamlet is well-managed and a beautiful, safe community. The apartments are bright, spacious, quiet, and mine had a great nature view off the balcony. Lynne is wonderful to communicate with and makes renting stress-free. She responds quickly to inquiries and addresses things promptly. Alex and Eric from maintenance are kind and can take care of any maintenance issues promptly. My unit was well-maintained and new appliances were ordered and installed very quickly when needed. Air conditioning and heat worked perfectly, no issues with humidity. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Use of the community room and gym are available in the Hamlet II next door. The Hamlet is truly the most wonderful place to live. Lynne and Alex were the most friendly, responsive, and caring individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. The apartments are well-built, and the community is peaceful and safe. It is incredibly easy to access many local neighborhoods and highways, and the commute into downtown Albany is easy. The amenities are lovely, and I highly recommend The Hamlet to anyone in search of an apartment in the Capital Region.

I lived here for 3 years beginning in 2020. I moved during the pandemic's first peak to be a resident physician at Albany Medical Center. Lynne and everyone at The Hamlet made the experience so easy and welcoming. With vaulted ceilings, clean spaces, and copious amenities, I felt tremendously happy with my new apartment. When the drying machine in my apartment broke (the one problem I had in 3 years), it was replaced with a new one the very next day. Also, the Bake For You shop run by Linda and Justin in the building is delicious and convenient with such great staff. Were I not moving in with my partner, I would have happily lived here for my full 5 years of training. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Lynne, David, Alex and the rest of the staff at The Hamlet. They were extremely responsive during our time in the building, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome during our rental period. The facility itself is very new and clean, and the layout in our one bedroom unit was great. The downstairs gym is also a great amenity to have in the building. I would recommend The Hamlet for anyone looking to rent a high end apartment in the Albany area. An additional bonus is "Bake For You" located on the bottom level of the complex. Linda and Justin are amazing, and the food is great.

My mom moved into the Hamlet last September and absolutely loves living at The Hamlet. Jonathan, Lynn and Alex have been wonderful to work with. They respond immediately to all her questions and are always helpful in resolving any issues she may have. The apartment is very roomy and well equipped with large closets with plenty of storage. She especially loves the convenient location to all her grocery stores. A great place to live!
