The Glen at Lafayette Hill

My self daughter and my husband have lived at the glen for almost 3 years now the property manager Monica is so nice she has helped us with anything we needed she always responds so quickly she really knows how to run the property and her employees. Martin the head of maintenance is so reliable and efficient really can fix anything. This is such a great place to live grounds are so well kept it is quite and people are very nice

I lived here for 3 years and if there is anyway you can avoid this place... AVOID IT. There are plenty of nicer places you can live in. Pros: - Maintenance staff is nice and neighbors are friendly - Nice location - Dog area is cute Cons: - You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing - Maintenance issues are not resolved and often are "fixed" but break again and thus there are ALWAYS issues. For example, we were paying HUNDREDS of dollars for AC every month because the HVAC was so poorly operating and our apartment did nothing about it besides give us a plug in AC unit. Mind you we lived in a 1 bedroom the size of a shoebox and yet were paying a ridiculous amount of money each month to PECO. We talked to someone else who recently moved in and there were not even informed of the HVAC

My fiancé and I lived at the Glen at Lafayette Hill for three years. It was in a good area, the apartments were nice, maintenance was on top of things. Then management changed and living there became stressful. The place become so poorly run that the good area, the nice apartment, and the timely maintenance didn’t matter. They charged us a bogus pet fee and we had to go to the parent company to get it removed. When my fiancé and I were moving out, we requested a final walk-through with management before we turned in our keys, which is a service they offer. But it never happened, and after we left they charged us for exactly the sort of thing a walk-through would have caught. (It was coffee stain on a tan carpet). Living here almost 1 year now. Absolutely no issues. Never needed to call maintenance. Ample parking space available. Very quiet and safe community. Have to move out now because of new job, but highly recommend this place if it fits your budget. Management is excellent - friendly, helpful.

Current Resident that has lived here over two years. Everything has been great the first two. My apartment was in great shape so not much interaction needed. My A/C went out a few weeks prior to signing my lease. Broken promises were made if I signed the lease. My experience post signing my lease in May has been unprofessional and polite disrespect. Here's my breakdown: - Community - 9/10 Everyone I encounter in my building are friendly, helpful when I have full hands and my toddler, and set my packages aside when left at my doorstep and I am out of town on a business trip. - Convenience - 7/10 You are a few stop lights away from Philly in one direction; Conshohocken and Plymouth Meeting in the other direction.
