I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Ann at The Flats at Austin Landing! From the moment I walked into the leasing office, she was warm, friendly, and welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in her presence, and knew that I was in good hands. Ann took the time to really understand my needs and preferences when it came to finding a new apartment. She listened carefully as I described what I was looking for, and asked thoughtful questions to help narrow down my options. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the complex and its amenities, and was able to answer all of my questions with ease. The Flats at Austin Landing has gone drastically downhill. What used to be a decent apartment community has turned into an absolute mess. The lack of standards for who they allow to live here is obvious - and it shows. There’s dog waste everywhere on the sidewalks, the smell of weed constantly lingers in the air, and neighbors have zero respect for shared spaces. It's loud, dirty, and feels more like a college dorm than a "luxary" apartment complex. Attached is a photo of a broken plate with shards that has been left in the hallway for over three hours - just one example of the daily disregard for cleanliness and basic decency from people around here. Hello world. I’ve been meaning to write a new review for The Flats for a while. I have written some in the past, but things have changed drastically, and all for the better. I’ve lived here for six years and I have basically seen it all. Down to business. The Connor Group used to run this place, and when they took over half of the building moved out because most of us know what the Connor Group is like. A different company took over two years ago, and this is the most amazing version of the building I’ve seen in the six years that I have actually lived here. The staff here is the friendliest group of people I’ve ever met in terms of renting an apartment. Great atmosphere, the leasing consultant named Ann had such a welcoming presence and gave us a very detailed tour of the apartments loved the gym area, the billiards room and the pool ..some of the residents we ran into and spoke with also highly recommend

Another day, another sign that this building has completely lost control. Residents are dragging Kroger carts inside and leaving them in the middle of stairwells - blocking exits, creating hazards, and making the place look like a neglected warehouse instead of a place people pay real money to live in. And every time something like this happens, management gives the same useless response: “There’s nothing we can do. If you see something, tell us.” That is not management - that is avoidance. You can do something: – Install cameras in the stairwells. – Enforce basic rules. – Fine repeat offenders. – Stop pretending your hands are tied.
