The Elms at Century

Me and my family were looking forward to move in this complex, the woman who helped us at first was very helpful. The day of our application process we had called in before to say we were coming, we arrive which mind you we live FAR away. The lady told us as soon as we arrived that the apt we wanted was already taken… we had called her 30 mins prior and she said okay that fine be on your way!. We are not upset at the fact that the place we wanted was taken, it was the inconvenience that we could have saved so much time if she would have called us and told us before having us travel all the way down. Very disappointed!!

I wrote a review on apartments.com saying this property has nice rooms and great staff before we started the move out process. We had let them know we were going to schedule a move out soon and they asked us to leave a review. Once we actually started the move out process, the staff was incredibly rude the whole time. We had a legal concern about a document they wanted us to sign that contradicted what they had told us. The leasing office staff were eye rolling at us when we didn't want to just take their word for it not applying. They then spook ill of us to their manager in earshot of us. The manager seemed more sympathetic and resolved the issue. The next issue we had during the move out process is the walk through for the move out. Was very nice at first, but then management started to seem to forget to manage..in the politest way possible..theres a man below me who has almost set the building on fire about 3 times already, without me going downstairs and seeing the smoke, then calling 911, no one would have known because the “fire alarms didn’t work”?…i thought it was mandatory that they work?..and he decides to have fights right when everyone goes to sleep, and also decides to blasts music. Horrible experience every night, always blasting music below us when we start to go to sleep, yelling his lungs out. He’s months behind rent and they still keep him here, it’s very very tiring. Kids never getting sleep and they know he smokes, which isn’t allowed, and strictly not allowed but they seem to brush off his shoulders

The Elms is the nicest apartment and place to live in the neighborhood. From the manager to the entire crew, their customer service and attention to detail is exceptional. The entire team are friendly. Working with Sandra has always been a pleasure. She is always pleasant, patient, ready to assist and I recommend her 24/7. Speaking of the maintenance crew, they are the most dedicated team I've ever dealt with, and they make me feel right at home. How could I forget the lady who ensures that all apartment common areas are always clean? She is amazing and always smiling through her work. At the Elms, we feel comfortable, safe and at peace. Keep up the great work!!

This is the most wholesome, refreshing, and best experience I’ve ever had renting an apartment. The team there is attentive, patient, and kind. My family has lived here for three years and plan to renew, until we purchase our forever home. We always look forward to the residents events, and holidays. Big praises to the office and maintenance team for truly caring about the residents and the community.
