The Edison at Gordon Square

Bad snow plowing in the winter, pool not heated. I’ve been living here for a while, and honestly, there are a lot of broken promises. What they advertise isn’t always accurate—the pool is supposed to be heated, but it definitely isn’t. If you tour the property, just check it yourself. The doors are constantly breaking, and safety is a real concern. The parking lot needs better lighting, and there should be more security cameras to protect residents. Overall, management needs to follow through on their promises and make the property safer and more reliable

My fiancé and I just moved out of the Edison after living there for two years. It was truly the best experience we’ve ever had after years of apartment living. The property managers Amber and Alyssa are so personable and willing to help. Truly an “ask and you shall receive” environment. Mari works the front desk and is always a friendly face and willing to help out. We adored this building and will miss it tremendously! The apartment was beautiful. The gym, which has gotten lots of new equipment over our time here, was perfect and we were able to cancel our memberships at outside facilities. We each had our own garages which was so great! Would recommend living here!

My husband and I have lived here for 2 years now and while yes, there are some issues in the area, that is part of what comes with living in a revitalized neighborhood this close to downtown. The management, staff and maintenance team is fantastic and is doing the absolute best they can, Amber and Alyssa are frequently addressing concerns and sending out information pertaining to any issues. When we found another apt available on our same floor that was slightly larger, the move and transfer of rental agreement was seamless. The location is PERFECT - we can see downtown Cleveland the Lake Erie from our 4th floor apt and the 10ft ceilings make the unit feel even larger. I'm very happy we moved here and chose to extend our lease!

I have been living at the Edison for over three years and I really enjoy it. I absolutely love my corner apartment. The pool is amazing. The staff are all so nice and always so helpful. I have had several things through the years that needed fixed or attention and I got immediate repair or replacement. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Especially being a single girl living here. It’s awesome. I feel very safe as well. The location of the Edison is perfect. I sail so it is just a walk down the hill to Edgewater beach and the Yacht club. It’s also just minutes to downtown Cleveland. There are lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. I highly recommend

The management team is wonderful and truly cares about the residents in this community. They are prompt, knowledgeable and thorough, and always courteous! The community areas have recently been upgraded and are well maintained. Moreover, Cleveland Police Department has enhanced their presence and regularly patrol the community grounds for parking and resident safety.
