The Dock Apartments

I’ve been living here for a while and absolutely love these apartments! They’re very nice, and I’ve never had any major issues. Any small problems I’ve had were always fixed quickly. The facilities are always clean, and honestly, I’ve never lived in a place this nice here in Joplin!

Horrible place to rent. Tenants living above me threw their marijuana cigarettes below while I was there. Dishwashers freezing and not working is very common due to old pipes and thin walls in the winter. Maintenance ignores requests to deal with clogged pipes and dishwashers and bulbs that need to be changed. Hallways have broken lights so it's dangerous especially at night with the high crime in the area. Management also will not refund your deposit no matter how much you clean after you leave. I would suggest looking at the new apartment complexes being built next to Casey’s or even Copper point. Avoid Holly Murdoch and Dock apartments at all costs!!!! P.S. What difference does my name make - the point is that the Dock apartments are trash. Look at the pictures.

I love our apartment, we have lived here for 4 years and have no plans on moving anytime soon. This place is clean, has an amazing pool, is set back away from the busy roads and is very private. Now in saying that there are some flaws. First these apartments were definitely built on the cheep..... shotty electric outlets, bad carpet installation, very thin walls. A few other flaws are they are right on the railroad tracks but in time you hardly notice, also our landlords though amazing people have a very hands off approach but many would love that, last is the price.... they are a bit expensive for what you get, we pay $700 a month for a 2 bed 2 bath which includes water and trash. I've been living here for about 4 months and have had an excellent experience. All of my request of management have been met in a very timely manner. Also, both the quality and location of the apartment are great!

Horrible management!!! Tried for 2 years to get in contact and Holly is awful!! A lot of my friends live at the docks and they never answer them ever. Their sink was clogged and it took weeks for someone to fix it the. the water wouldn’t work and where without for awhile. Another was locked out of her apartment and had to wait days to get in and the owner still has yet to respond back. Not worth the trouble of having someone who will never call or text back. Just a lack of responsibility and respect of others.
