Redwood Gardens

I have lived here for several years and I have enjoyed the Independent Community life very much. I have made some great friends and the sharing of the community coming together and participating in the different activities that are provided for us, such as the bingo, the meal times, holiday get-togethers. I think that some of my favorite times are sitting out on the patio and enjoying the fellowship of the neighbors, especially in the nice weather. I like being able to have plants/flowers in the yard. We have gone through several Managers, but each one has been pleasant and kind to see that we are taken care of which is an important attribute for us. I enjoy the overall view of the community and I’m very thankful to be here for this time of my life.

This is my second review. After 41/2 years and 2 property managers we now have a third manager and she in my opinion is doing a great job. She is very fair . All of the other property managers pets have lost their power. It is finally becoming a more pleasant place to live. I hope we don't lose her.

Great management and a great place to live. I have lived here over 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about the grounds and the staff.

We lived here for 1 1/2 yrs. The units, which were built by Redwood Development, were very nice: however, management was lacking in PR skills. One big attraction for us in choosing RGE was the Pool Table and Theatre room in the Community Room. However, after just a few weeks, the pool table was removed and the TV hardly ever worked when we wanted to use it. Our rent was never lowered to compensate for these changes and we did not receive the value which we agreed to at the time the lease was executed. To me, this seemed like a "bait & switch" scheme to me.
