The apartments are nice, but the management is terrible. They run the apartments like section 8. The apartment complex is full of dog crap. Management is so unprofessional it’s ridiculous. There’s nothing pleasant about the manager. Dog feces on the elevator. Maintenance is always talking loud on the phone early in the morning. The Manager is never on time in the office. When you move in, you better ask questions and pay attention to your lease details. They cannot make leases. Btw move in fees are ridiculous. Valet trash come when they want to. The community only has a pool. No good amenities. It’s gated that’s a plus. About 20 to 25 minutes from downtown. Kroger is about 2 miles down the road. I hate that I moved here. I would not recommend a homeless person to live here under management

I came in interested in applying for an apartment at The Crockett and was genuinely excited to learn more about the community. This would have been my first apartment, so I was eager to learn and ask questions about the process. Unfortunately, I never even made it through the door due to my interaction with an employee named Cynthia. From the moment we spoke, her tone felt dismissive and condescending. Throughout the conversation, I felt as though she was trying to imply that I was ignorant rather than taking the time to explain the process or answer questions clearly. Gwen has got to be the best property manager I've ever encountered! She actually gives a shit and I can tell she cares about her job!! Needless to say, I signed a lease. That tour she gave me was well informed too. And the property is super nice, and it has ELEVATORS !!

The NEW team is amazing and extremely attentive. Both ladies in the office were extremely helpful and welcoming! I have lived here for quite a bit, and I can say they have made a big change.

I am writing this review to share my experience with the Crockett regarding unfair charges upon move-out. I resided in first floor for 1 year. Despite submitting a detailed pre-move-in damage report on June 1, 2024, documenting existing issues, I was unjustly charged for damages that were present before I even moved into the unit. Specifically, I was charged for "paint marks on the walls in the living room and bedroom", which were clearly noted and photographed in my initial report. I provided photographic and written evidence of these pre-existing conditions at the beginning of my lease. It is highly disappointing to be held responsible for wear and tear or damage that was not caused during my tenancy.
