The Constellation

I know people who have a good experience rarely leave reviews, so I wanted to take some time to write up our experience. We live in the lower tower, have been here for 4 years. We’re really going to miss this place when we leave. The staff is always responsive, the floor to ceiling windows are well insulated from sound and weather. The gym is super nice (saved ~$100 right there). Maintenance is always quick. We did get our two wheeler stolen from the garage but the MPM team was very cooperative and got us the video which helped get our insurance pay out. List goes on - very positive stay, will pick this place over any other in the city any day. Plus, you CANNOT beat all the neighborhood businesses right at your doorstep including a giant grocery store, dentist’s office, restaurants etc. H

Wasn’t going to place a review as we have left the building after 2 years and saw no point in giving a bad review. BUT, I just received our security deposit back and I have changed my mind. We cleaned the apartment as MPM had outlined in a letter but they still charged a cleaning fee. Constellation has no service elevator so you have to use the tenant elevators to move. These 2 elevators go down regularly. There are times that both of them are out at the same time. We lived on the 9th floor, that was great when they would be down for the weekend! This building offers very little compared to other high rises in the area. The rooftop (4th floor) was not worth using. Had a bicycle stolen from the “secure” 4th floor parking. They wanted to raise our rent $400 this year and over $200 last y

Everything negative you read on Reddit about MPM is absolutely correct. Run at all cost. I enjoyed living at the constellation but would totally avoid it just because of the property management. They are terrible and just trying to get every cent from you. Let alone the elevators go out of order all the time and we had to take the stairs during moving season

I have lived at the Constellation for ~8 months so far and am very pleased with my experience. Just today I realized I had forgotten to refill my cat's water when I would be away for a few days, and the cat sitter could not make it out this morning. When I called tentatively asking if maintenance would maybe be able to check on her and possibly refill the water dish, Lauren of management personally went to my unit, filled the water dish, and sent an email within the hour letting me know my cat was okay. As an admitted crazy cat lady, a gesture like this is the fastest way to my heart. This experience and my general satisfaction so far have prompted me to write this (probably over-long) review. Currently renting here. The rent is going up by $290 *per month* starting in April, and the building currently has a cockroach infestation. I get them occasionally in my unit on the seventh floor, the "maintenence" person who comes by says the lower floors have it worse. You can do better than this property.
