The Ashberry Apartment Homes

Let me start by saying that the leasing office manager and staff are some of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with. They openly gossip about residents *with other residents* and share private information, including when and why someone allegedly won’t be allowed to renew their lease. That alone is wildly inappropriate. On top of that, they consistently had a noticeably different demeanor when assisting my boyfriend versus me, and it often felt like they did not respect women. Living conditions have also been frustrating. The neighbors below us smoke cigarettes constantly, making it impossible to open our windows without smoke pouring into our apartment. They repeatedly slam their porch door, which shakes our entire unit, and they leave **mountains of trash bags** overflowing

So, to start off with, the Ashberry apartments are very nice and spacious. The bathrooms were a good size and everything was newly renovated. The screened in balconies are definitely a plus. Overall, with the exception of a noisy neighbor, we enjoyed our stay at The Ashberry. My boyfriend and I only lived here for about 10 months as we bought a home. The tennis court and the pool are very nice and good amenities, however, there are plenty of other apartment complexes that have more amenities (such as a 24 hour club house with games, bike rental, etc.) While our stay at Ashberry was very pleasant, the move out was a different story. As mentioned, we only lived here for 10 months and did not get any of our security deposit back- rather, we owed money. We were charged $213 for “apartment pai

First of all, I appreciate the peace, quiet and cleanliness provided by the Ashberry. I’ve lived here close to 6 years and I’m still pleasantly impressed by the attention paid to the details that make life here comfortable and enjoyable. It’s pest and critter (think rodent) free. The maintenance staff is fast and reliable. Lastly but most importantly, I have to give kudos to the manager, Corrie. She is very responsive, extremely professional and always friendly.

There are a lot of spiders on the property. One of the exterminators made him self too comfortable in our home when he would come. Also idk if it was a race or age thing but the leasing office ladies were often condescending and very dismissive. Other than that, the maintenance crew was very professional and worked within a timely manner. Also it’s a cute, comfortable neighborhood with a lot of conveniences nearby…. If you can deal with all the spiders.

My wife and I have lived at Ashberry Apartments for almost six years now, and it has been nothing short of fantastic. I understand that some people have issues with apartment complexes, but we’ve been fortunate to never experience any real problems. The only minor issue we’ve ever had — and it was rare — was people not picking up after their dogs. But I bring that up only to highlight how quickly Ashberry responded. Within a week, they had installed pet waste stations throughout the community to address the problem. That kind of responsiveness speaks volumes. Overall, it’s a very solid community. It feels homey, quiet, and is always well-maintained. I’ve heard horror stories from friends at other complexes, and every time I do, I think to myself, “I literally can’t imagine that happening
